SYDNEY, Juno 15. (Received Juno 15, at 10 a.m.) Mr Edwards, secretary to the Chamber of Manufacturers, stated that the wireless apparatus which had been ordered abroad by the Postmaster-Gen-eral’s Department could be made in Australia. Local companies had not been given a chanco, to quote for the orders, which involve an amount ot about £200,000. Australia made apparatus for New Zealand in competition with the rest of tho world.
