DRUIDISM

The fortnightly meeting of the Mistletoe Lodge was held in St. Mark’s Hall, Green Island, A.D. Bro. J. C. S. Logie, presiding. D.P. Bro. T. Clarke paid his first official visit to the' lodge, and was warmly received with musical honours. Committee reports were received from P.A. Bio. A. C. Dumble regarding the annual meeting of the D.F.S. Dispensary; from P.A. Bro. A. Mildenhall regarding euchre; and from D.P. Bro. F. Johns concerning the meeting of ‘the church vestry committee to arrange for heaters to be installed in the ball. The usual toasts were duly honoured, and D.P. Bro. Clarke suitably replied. The Arch Druid then adjourned the lodge for the purpose of carrying out the em on the syllabus, “ Vice Arch Charge Competition.” D.P. Bro. Clarke, assisted by Secretary Bro. F. G. Smith, judged the competition. Very creditable renderings of the charge kere given by the competitors, especially by the junior members, who are to be congratulated on their performances. The results were: P.A. Bro. Dumble 1, V.A. Bro. Reynolds 2. Bro. Reynolds was also the winner of a special prize given for the member below the_ rank of Arch Druid gaining the highest number of points.
