Followers of tennis are looting for-, ward, to seeing the Australian tennis players in action against the South Island team at Logan Park courts ou Tuesday and Wednesday next. It ia, many years since the public has had! an opportunity of seeing such liigh-clase; exponents of the game, and some greati tennis should be in th«| ..matches', between these two teams. The* visitors have proved by their matches* against the New Zealand team that! they are a very strong combination, but? it is anticipated the South Island teanii. will put up a good showing againsc these formidable opponents. In Kaims. the visitors have a very outstanding player, while Sproule, Donohue, and Teague Are in’ the top, flight of the game in Australia. ; The Sotftfi Island team consists of C. Angas, the present* New Zealand champion, RhodesWilliams, and Glanville church) who have been snowing ex-* cellent form this season, and S. G* M'Dougall, the presentOtago, champion! Arrangements have been made for ' special' seating accommodhtion at Logan Park.
