THE BADGES
The badges are selling very well indeed, both girl’s and boy’s kind. The first has been made in the form of a brooch, the second in the form of a button for the lapel of your coat. You had better get your kind as quickly as possible. It won’t make any difference to the good time that we shall have at the picnic, but it will certainly look very nice to,have all the family wearing the family badge and crest. Brother Bill is wearing the first badge struck from the die. It has been made in gold, and very generously donated to Brother Bill by the uncles and aunts at 4YA. The general opinion about our family badge is that it is very bandsome to look at, and the mai y has done quite a good job of work in liis reproduction of the winning design. It you are sending for the badge by post, will you please also enclose a penny stamp extra. The badge is costing exactly the amount that you are paying for it, therefore the extra penny stamp must be paid by Big Brother Bill. Naturally he doesn’t want all his spending money to disappear in buying penny stamps.
