This is the last announcement before the great day on March 8. Tickets are selling merrily. You will remember that purchasing your ticket means that you are paying the bus fare; it does not mean that Big Brother Bill is making a charge for the picnic this year. At the bottom of each ticket are two little squares, perforated to allow of being tom off easily. One of theij little squares will pay your bus faro to the picnic ground, the other will give you a return ride. Children’s tickets arc 6d and coloured red, adults’ tickets arc Is and coloured blue. The buses will leave the ‘ Star ' buildings. Stuart street, at 10 o’clock. There will be other buses leave the ‘ Star ’ buildings at 2. It will bo easy to get to the picnic ground, whether you leave, in the morning or the afternoon. The treasure hunt will begin as near to 11 o’clock as is possible. Brother Bill thought that he might print directions for the treasure bunt in the ‘ Star,’ but that is not possible; however, you will receive full directions on the picnic ground. The sports will begin at 2 o’clock and continue all the afternoon. Games will be organised, whilst the sports are being held. There will be fun for all and prises for the sporting people. ■ Tea, hot water, milk, and sugar will be provided free for all on the picnicground. All that we need for an excellent and happy time Is that the sun shines as it did last year; let everybody hope that it will.
