RESEARCH IN AUSTRALIA TREATMENT OF SHEEP FOODS Frew Association- By Telegraph—Copyright. • MELBOURNE, February 27. An important development in the wool industry may arise from an announcement that is likely to be made by the Commonwealth Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, which is now sitting at Melbourne. The council has been concentrating on the research work of the late Professor Robertson, ol Adelaide University, who, at the timeot his death recently, was conducting investigations on the nutrition of animals. Experiments and intensive following research showed clearly that success might he expected from scientific methods of treating sheep foods, the ultimate object being the production of ' heavier and larger staple. Sir George Julius, chairman of the council, stated that, if complete success was reached, the results would he made known to the world.
