CABARETS’ HOURS.
TO THE EDITOR. ’ Sir,—ln Thursday’s issue you pub lished a; local stating that the police hadraided a cabaret situated on the out skirts of tho eity,_ and that the rev. s ' lers made a hurried exit, etc. As I have charge, of a cabaret “ on the outskirts” of the city, and am the holder of a license from the City Corporation, the tenure of which I respect, I wish, on behalf of ray respected clientele, to publicly stated ’ that it was not the Moulin Rouge that was raided. As a matter pf fact, so well conducted is this cabaret, and such is tho class of patron attending, that the local police on several occasions have been unable to refrain from complementing us.—l am, etc., H. C. Gore, Manager. January 4. i
