The Pari« correspondent of the ‘Daily News’ says that the Frenchwomen’s Sports Federat'on is not allowing women, or girls to participate in organised spm-ts unless they possess an approved doctor’s certificate ot physical and mental fitness, which must be renewed twice n year. The decision is a concession to the medical view that vigorous field sports are not suitable for women and girls of frail physique and iudi/lerent health.
