Thomas Ivory, a bricklayer, aged fortyfour years, was set on fir© by urs assailants, who threw an inflammable liquid ove his clothes and face, and then applied a match. A woman discovered the man s plight, and subdued the fire with a bucket of water. Ivory was terribly burned, and his dying depositions were taken. His watch, chain, money, and boots were stolen Ivory died during the .night. No arrest has yet been made.
