RIFLE SHOOTING
KIWI CLUB The Kiwi Defence Rif3 Club fired the second competition of No. 1 match for prizes presented by Sir J. Allen on Saturday afternoon. There was a good attendance of members. The weather was line, but at 300yds, with a bright light, a heavy mirage completely uuset wind calculations, while at -600yds the light was dull and the wind very tricky. Tljp outstanding score was by Rifleman W. M'Kcich, 92, which was a bi-'lliant shoot for the day. In the B grade Rifleman H. Stinson was top with a well-scored 86. The following were the conditions: Ten shots mid two opt’ona l sighters at 300yds and 500yd=. Scores:—
DUNEDIN DEFENCE CLUB The Dunedin Defence Rifle Club ftod the second competition for prizes presented by Mr A. J- Shaw, on Saturday afternoon. Conditions, ten shots (two optional sighters) each at 300yds and SOOyds. A dull licht and variable wind made shooting difficult Nineteen members competed. Rifleman E G- Rage made the highest aggregate. Rifleman R. A. Mackm was top at 300yds with 5,4, 4,4, ,> > ’ 3 4 .(41), and Rifleman R. G.
