ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
INQUEST FINDING. Regarding the Kelvin road fatality,at Invercargill, the coroner (Mr IV. H„Woodward, vS.il.) found_ that Andrew M'Reath, the driver of the baker s cart, died from injuries received as ilia result of a collision with a motor car, driven by Roy Wallace, but th<3 evidence of neglect on the part oi tins driver of tho motor car was noiy sufficiently conclusive to enable him to ox-* press an opinion on the point.—Pro* Association. FOUND DEAD. A Carterton Association- _ message slates that Gonrgo Alfred Ritchie, of Carterton, aged fifty-four, and single* was found dead in lied at 7 this morning, with liis throat cut. He was nob in’difficulty of any kind, as far as is known.
