DAME MELBA’S VOICE

“BEAUTIFUL AS EVER” LONDON, October 2. “Go and tell everybody that my voice is as beautiful as ever—as fresh as a young girl’s,” said Dame Nellie Melba yesterday. She will sing at Brighton on Saturday in _ aid of the Sussex Hospital, after which she will return to Paris. Dame Nellie added: “Please make it clear that I will appear only for charity. I shall never sing again lor money.”
