AUSTRALIAN BUTTER

LONDON DAIRY SHOW JUDGING AMAZES EXPERTSPress Association—-By Telegraph —Copyright. LONDON, October 22. (Received October 23, at 11 a.m.) Australian butter authorities are amazed at tho judging at the London Dairy Show of the different judges in the salted and uusaltcd butter classes. There is no complaint against the former, hut the low marks awarded to the bulk of the nnsalted exhibits, especially for flavour, reduced a large proportion of tlio entries below Australia’s lowest export standard. Many of the exhibits received only 20 out of 50 points tor flavour.

It is nomted out that New Zealand did not compete this year owing to dissatisfaction with the judging of last vear.—Australian Press Association.
