AUSTRALIAN COAL
NEW SOUTH WALES DEADLOCK Pr«« Atno«i&tion—Bj Xelccrapii—Conjrijhl. SYDNEY, October 18. (Received October IS, at 9.50 a.m.) _ It is not anticipated that any solution of the coa! problem will be found as the result of the conversations between Hr Theodore, the coal-owners, and the Officials of the Minors’ Federation. Mi- Theodore’s proposals are practically a renewal of those made on different " occasions during the past seven months by the miners—namely, the reopening of the mines on the conditions existing before they closed down. There is not the least likelihood of the owners agreeing to this.
