INDIAN JUTE STRIKE
A SETTLEMENT REACHED Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. DELHI, August 16. (Received August 17, at 10 a.m.) An official communique announces that a settlement has been reached in the jute strike. It is hoped that work will be resumed on Monday. The employers agree to pay a proportionate increase on the total earnings for, the extra hours worked.— United Service.
