Even more sensational than the original episode was the arrest of two men, arising out of a robbery at Mr Ezra Norton’s home at Bellevue Hill. The whole of the loot and the jewellery, valued at £2;500, was recovered. When tho men were taken in a pawnshop one tried to draw a revolver from his pocket, hut a detective grabbed his hand. The two men ivcre later charged with theft.
