FOUND DEAD. A married man mimed John Emerson. aged 58, a billiard marker, was found dead at his home in Leonard street, Waimatc, last evening. TEMPORARILY INS AN E. At the inquest at Napier concerning the death of' William Hutchcon Carrie, a tailor by occupation, a verdict of suicide while temporarily insane was returned. The deceased took poison, and died a few hours later. CHILI) KILLED. Graham Haase, aged five years, a s<m of Mr W. H. Haase, of Takaka, was killed instantaneously while attempting to cross Commercial street, Takaka (Nelson) yesterday. MOTORIST DIES FROM INJURIES. Mr J. Salmon, a painter, aged 38, and single, of Donnelly’s Crossing, hail breakfast yesterday with his brother, a recent arrival from Australia. He went to work in a siied near by (states, a Dargavillo Association message), and later returned to tell his brother that he had taken spirits of salts by mistake. He was placed in a car and rushed to Tckopuru Hospital, 35 mile* away, but expired on the way.
