THE SHARE MARKET DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. A reported sale in New Zealand Bre\ cries Debentures at 28s 6d opened the ca. of the Dunedin Stock Exchange this morn inf, while Commercial Banks were sold ai 29s 6d, the quotations being: Buyer 29s 6d jeller 30s. ' Union Banks were inquired foi at £ls Is without result, and there wen no shares available in National Insurances, which found inquiry at 16s Id. A seller o Westport Coals quoted 33s 6d, but the only response was a buyer of an odd lot at 335. Australian Iron and Steels were asked fo; at 225, but the selling quote was 22s 9d Milburn Limes were on offer at 40s 3d, with a buyer prepared to give 59s 3d. Wilson's Cements again showed a close market, with the prices the same as yesterday. The buyers’ price for New Zealand Breweries was 83s 6d, with a wide seller at 84s fid. Breweries Debentures supplied a close market with a buyer at 28s 5d and a seliei at 28s 7d. Electrolytic Zinc preferenct were in demand at 39s 6d, and the ordinaryissue at 39s 3d, the sellers’ quotes being 40s 3d and 40s respectively. Mount Lyells remained steady with an inquiry at 43s and a seller 6d away. There was a buyer of Okaritos at Is 7d prera., and a seller at Is lid prem. Government Debentures presentee the usual list of buyers, the only selling quotation being for 1938 Stock at £IOO 10s. Sales reported; N.Z.
