SOLDIERS’ REUNION

War reminiscences and anecdotes of Gallipoli flowed freely at the first reunion of New Zealand returned soldiers and New Zealand Imperial ex-service-men in Sydney, 150 oi whom gathered to-night at a dinner, which was presided over by Major J. Loudon. The organisers Mere Messrs J. Angus, R. Chapman, and Roy Stanley. A resolution ivas carried unanimously disapproving of the action of the M.avor of Auckland in not extending hospitality to the officers and men of the Kmclcn, it being considered that the mayor’s attitude Mas not only petty but un-Christian.
