THE SHARE MARKET DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. Business opened on the Stock Exchange this morning with several reported sales.; Bank of New Zealands were on offer at' 62s 9d, but there was no inquiry.- Union Banks provided a fairly close .market with buyers at £ls 14s 6d and sellers at £ls 16®-, National Insurances were wanted,at “a Id,, but the sellers" quote was 3d above. ' Tbe output from the Westport Coal Com-, pany’s mines for last month was 41,351 tons, being about 8,000 tons above the corresponding month of last year. , This in-! crease is probably to some extent a reflex of the coal trouble in Australia. Buyers offered 35s for the shares, but .there were, none oh offer. New Zealand Refrigeratingcont. shares improved a point with buyers at 7s 4d and no sellers. British Tobaccos were on offer at 50s 3d, with the buyers’ quotation 9d below. Milburn , Limes provided a buyer at 38s 6d, with sellers asking ■s9s 3d. Drugs were quoted 76s 6d .sellers/ with ho buyers. Breweries still remain very firm, while raining shares disclosed no, alteration, except that the buyer "for Kil- : dares advanced to 5s 9cl, with sellers at 4s. Government debentures provided a continuous list of buyers at recent rates, without any sellers quoting. Sales Reported.—Wilson's Cement, £2 Ss; Wright, Stephenson (ovtl.), £1 5s 3d; Wright, Stephenson (pref.), 18s.
