Lace comes really into its own on tlie new cami-knickers which have satin or crepe Je chine only at , the waist and hips. The deep yoke is made of finest lace, and the knickers themselves are made of "he same, gathered into fine elastic bands. These are beet suited for dancing,' when yon want, undies that take up the least room beneath a, filmy frock. ; yon don’t like the kind that has elastic round the leg part there are satin knickers with wide lace trimmings, which continues right up the sides. Rows of tiny pin tucks are put besidi the j lace each side from waistband to hem.
