RUGBY LEAGUE

O.R.F.L. EXECUTIVE The weekly meeting of the Otago Rugby Football League Executive was licld last night. The president (Air T. M, Gillies) occupied the chair. The Canterbury League wrote stating that it was supporting the Otago League in the effort to bring over a leading New South Wales League team to tour New Zealand this season. A letter from the town cleric relative to horses and cattle grazing on the League properly was received. The Grounds Committee reported that the padding had been pulled off the posts at Chisholm Park, and that the cross-bar bracket had been broken. One of the posts at the Oval bad been lifted out of its socket. —The matter was left in the hands of Air Watson to attend to. The secretary was instructed to write the various Leagues to ascertain if they intended touring this season. SATURDAY’S MATCHES.

First Grade.—City v. Kaikorai, at Caledonian (Air G. Packer); Christian Brothers A v. Christian Brothers B, at Oval (Air 0. Falgar) ; Pacific v. Kaitangata, at Kaitangata (Air W. Al'Ewen).

Juniors.—Pacific v. Athletic, at Caledonian Ground (Mr AVatson).
