RATEPAYERS AHD HOUSEHOLDERS CANDIDATES FOR LOCAL BODIES A full ticket for Hie City Council elections was selected last night by a, combined meeting ol representatives of trade, business, .;nd industrial interests,’ wall delegates from several, ratepayers’ associations.
The following ratepayers and householders’ ticket for the local bodies at tiie election on 3lay 1 was chosen, the meeting deciding to take no part in the choice of a mayoral candidate;— City Council,—Crs J, B. Shaddock, \V. Seott, J. Wilson, J. J. Clark, ami F. W. Mitchell, 3lessrs C. R. Smith, F. H. Wilkinson, L. Lawrence, P. L. Ritchie. J. 31 allow, H. L. Tapley, and A. D. Edgar. Harbour Board.—Messrs 11. C. Camp-i ho!!. Sidney Neill, J. Duncan, A. Hr Allen, amt A. J. Allen. Hospital Board.—Mrs Walter Ross,Miss Rnm-iman, 3lrs 3(arsiiall 31 acdonald, Di' Newlands, 3Tes.srs J. V 7, Scan - , Garth Gallaway, and W. E. S. Knight. It was unanimously agreed to support each candidate for one office only.
