CONSTABLE SHOT
DEATH IN HOSPITAL MAN CHARGED WITH MURDER. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. ADELAIDE. February 25. (Received February 25, at 9.50 a.nL) Constable Holman (twenty-three) was shot in the stomach and died later in hospital. With another constable he questioned two men, when suddenly one drew' a revolver and shot Holman, then ran away. The second constable shot the retreating man in the leg. Two more police appeared and several more shots were bred. Later James M'Gralh (twenty-three) was charged witli murder.
