THU I! A DAY, JANUARY 17. (Before Air J. R. Bartholomew, S.AI.) BOUND DRUNK. Alter evidence of a domestic nature has been given in the case of Islay Muriel Boycs, charged with being found drunk in Princes street, the defendant was convicted and discharged. Til LET ALLEGED. Charged witli stealing £7O in money, the property of John Alcrry, Hume Mather Beeby was remanded till January 21. YOUNG ALAN REAIANDED. A young man, charged with stealing £2l Ills Sid, was remanded till January 21. On the application ol Air A. G. Neill, who appeared lor the accused, hail was allowed in the sum of £IOO (accused’s own recognisance) and one security of £IOO or two ol £SO. ASSAULT ON CONSTABLE. A man, whose name was suppressed in the. meantime, vias charged with being found drunk, with iinlawlnlly assaulting a constable in the execution of his duly, and with damaging a. pair of trousers valued at £1 IBs, the property of the New Zealand Government, Air C. J. L. White, who appeared for the accused, asked fur a remand till .Monday next. The remand was granted, and bail was fixed at £lO (accused’s own recognisance) and one surety of £lO.
