MRS HENDERSON'S STORY

Mrs Henderson says: “Wo wei;o bowling along at a comfortable speed when 1 felt the car stop. I saw' the face of a masked man in tho open window' at ray husband’s elbow. The man stuck the muzzle of a revolver in my husband’s side, and another masked man placed tho barrel of a revolver against Mr Manson’s head. “Take all wo’ve got, but For the Lord’s sake don’t shoot us. We’ve got three kiddies. Don’t shoot,” 1 cried. The men ordered us out of the car, .saying they didn’t want our money, “it’s the car wo want,” they told us. Wo were all lined up behind tho car, while the robbers kept their revolvers pointed in our direction. They said they would leave tlio car about a couple of miles down tho road. Wc did not believe them. Tho whole party was left in the road watching tho disappearing tail lights of the car.”
