WORLD'S WHEAT

AMERICAN ESTIMATE Press Association—By Telegraph-Copyright. WASHINGTON, November 23. (Received November 24, at 10 a.m.) The Department of Agriculture estimates that the world’s wheat cropexcluding Russia and China—is 3,iL)0,000,000 bushels, which is about 100,000,000 bushels above that of last year. The Russian crop is estimated to bo larger than that of 1927, but, ns the result of a shortage of rye crops and other factors, there will bo no wheat for export, and Russia will probably have to import more wheat than she did in 1927. A large part of the Canadian huge wheat crop is said to be of low grade, and a large percentage of it will be used as iced. —Australian Press Association
