(Received November 24, at 10.30 a.m.) ‘Lo Journal’s’ correspondent declares that the German official army of 100,000 men is stronger than lias been supposed, the number of privates being 38,000, corporals 38,000, sergeants 20,297, staff officers 619 (including thirty-nine generals and 106 brevet colonels). There are 596 phantom companies apart from the regular companies of the Roiebswobr. The amninl cost of the army is £35,000,000, whereas, the old imperial army of 900,0(H) nieii cost £30,000,000.
