TAIERI HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY
There was a good attendance at (lie annual meeting of the Taieri Horticultural Society, held last night, at which the president (Mr J. P. Walls) presided, The secretary (Miss Pearson) read the annual report and balancesheet, which showed a satislaclory financial position. Office-bearers were elected as follow:—Patron, Mr J. P. Walls; president, Mr E. Pilling; vice-president, Mr M'Cnmi; committee—Mcsdamcs Pilling, Pringle, Walls, and Gillon, Miss Currie, Messrs J. R. Brown, S. M'Millan, W. W. Turnbull, A. Pcdofsky, A. Miller, J. S. Watt, John Aitkcn, A. Hendry, J. M'Ansland, and R. Holland; secretary and treasurer, Miss R. Pearson. It was decided that five form a quorum. The schedule for the autumn show was revised, and classes included for. schools and school children.
