Hank of New Zcalnad shares remain unchanged, while an inquiry ior E. S.and A. Hanks at £8 15s brought, forward a seller at £8 17s. There was a. slight drop in prices offered for insurance shares. Tor P. and 0. Deferred Stock £2 14s 3d was offered, with the seller's price standing at £2 17s fid; .\,Z. EclTigeralings had buyers for the paid issue at 18s 2d, without al trading a seller, while for contributing issue buyers quoted at 9s sd, with sellers prepared .to quit at: 9s fxi. Tor both issues of Wellington Woollens £6 18s was offered, hut no sellers appeared. The steady demand for brewery shares continued, with a seller quoting 58s Cd for N.Z. Breweries, with the buyer prepared to give 57s Cd. There was a close market in Okaritos, the. quotations being:—Buyers 8d prrm.. and sellers lOd pretu.
