MEETING DF COMMITTEE The monthly meeting of the commit* tco of the Early {settlers’ Association was held yesterday afternoon, Mr F. W. Knight (president) occupying the chair. Dr Stuart, and a memo, in his writing saying “ This belonged to my grandfather, John M'Naughton, who died about 1800 ”; Mrs Sarah Hancock, Dunedin, model set of stampers for tin mining, made by her late father, Seppran Rowe, over fifty years ago, also a poem (framed), “ Gabriel’s Gully Jubilee, 1861-1911,” written by Mrs E. Auld, and himself, competitors running, Caledonian sports, 1872-74; Ambroqp Hudson, Dunedin, time-table Dunedin city tramways (David Prondfoot proprietor, AVilliam Crombio manager), dated October 3, 1879; Andrew Heads, Invercargill, framed portrait of the late Mrs Eliza Burns, nee Kennard, and three great grandchildren (Mrs Burns arrived at AVaikouaiti in the Magnet, 1810); Edwin A. Pyrke, North-east A r alley, his late father’s apprenticeship indentures, dated at Middlesex, June 7, 1825, during the rejgn of George IV.; Thomas L. Oswin, Dunedin, copy of “Treaty of Waitangi ”; C. Hunter, George street (Pladda, 1861); James Laiug, Groymouth (Empress of tho Sea, 1861); Mrs Janet MTherson, 70 Silverston street, Anderson’s Bay (Pladda, 1860). Fifteen descendants were also enrolled.
