ROSS HOME GREEN OPENED. The bowling green attached to Ross Home was opened for tho season yesterday afternoon, a good number of persons interested in tho game being present. Tho Rev. W r . 'Trotter (convener of the Presbyterian Social Service Association) acknowledge valuable help received from various gentlemen in making the green, especially mentioning Messrs G. R. Smith, Thompson, and Campbell. The Rev. W r . Saunders (chairman of Ross Home Committee) called attention to various improvements made since the green was first opened last season. Mr R. H. Todd (president of Dunedin Bowling Centre) and Mr J. B. Frame (president of Dunedin Club) expressed hopes that the inmates would enjoy many god games on'the green, and the opening ceremony was concluded by Sister Young (matron of the home) rolling up the first bowl.
