CARD AUTHORITY AND WIFE DIE 01 SAME DAY LONDON, October 20. The death occurred within a few hours of each, other of Mr TV illjam Dalton and his wife, Mrs Katherine Beaton Dalton, of Woodmanton, Hutton, near Brentwood. Mr Dalton, who was seventy-two, was a magistrate for Essex, and was formerly a member of Essex County Council. He was president of Brentwood Constitutional Association, and a prominent member of Essex Union Hunt. He was a bridge expert, a well-known author and writer, and chairman of the Portland Club, London. Mrs Dalton died at ber homo and her husband in a nursing institution in London. Ho was not informed ot his wife’s death. Thev were buried together at Hutton" near Brentwood,; Essex,
