BANTAM-WEIGHT. Huruo (Wellington) v. Haines (Westport); Hutchinson (Napier) v. Davis (Auckland); Knuckloy (Hawke’s Bay) v. Craik (Otago); Brosnahaii (Canterbury) v. Roebuck (Taranaki). NOTES. Fulcher has only to box to term to beat Argylc, who is not the finished boxer tho Otago champion is. Argyle was beaten by H. Drew in the North Otago championships, and Drew is a long way below Fulcher’s class. Duggan, who meets tho winner of this bout, is a West Coaster reputed to be a tough customer. . . Davis should be hard to heat iu Jus limit, but Craik is up against a fairly solid bantam in Knuckey, who competed as a feather last, year. Webber has a hard man to meet in tho winner of tho bout between Donovan (holder ot the feaihei title) and Thomas, and it he were to win this bout ho would not only create one of tho surprises of tho tourney, but also bo a good choice tor tho final. Donovan, however, will probably have too much experience for him if it should be that they meet. N Roebuck, the present holder or the New Zealand lly-weight_ championship', has stepped out of this division, and will now bo a contender for tho bantam-weight title. Tho fly-weight division will now bo contested by four, and if Johnny Richmond (Otago) can win his first light he will bo me of Die finalists.
