SUBSTANTIAL GIFTS
[Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, August 22. A donation of £SOO has been made to the Jubilee Institute for the Blind by Mr John Marshall, of Remucra, who a year or two ago gave a similar amount. In addition to a bequest of £SOO to Auckland Hospital (telegraphed yesterday), tho late Mr Alexr. Bell bequeathed £SOO each to the Evelyn Firth Homo for Disabled Soldiers, Somervill Presbyterian Church, and tho Jubilee Institute for the Blind; £3OO to the Leslie Presbyterian Orphanage; and £IOO to tho Little Sisters of the Poor.
