(Received August 10, at 11.30 a.m.) The Prince of Wales returned to London last night—the first of the pilgrims who have been attending tho British Legion commemoration ceremonies in Franco and Flanders. The main body of pilgrims arrived early to-day. On his journey to Boulogne yesterday the Prince halted at St. Omer, where ho was welcomed by the mayor and inhabitants of the neighbourhood in which, during the war, when attached to headquarters, he spent some time. Later he broke his journey and paid a surprise visit to the farm at which he was billeted during the war for four months. Tho farmer received him in his shirt sleeves, and he and his wife were much affected by the Prince’s act. The Prince readily accepted an invitation to take coffee, which was served in the living room of the farmstead. On reaching Boulogne tho Prince visited tho British war cemetery at Tcrlincthun.
