COMPETITION FOR KING’S CUP

LONDON, July 13

Women have definitely taken their place in the air. The feats of LadyHeath and Lady Bailey are still fresh in the minds of all, and now another woman pilot is making her bid for fame. She is Miss Winifred Spooner, who having recently acquired a Moth light 'plane, has entered for the King’s Gup race around Britain, being the first woman to do so. Captain Stack will also pilot a Moth in the race.
