ST. PETER'S CHURCH

The annual meeting of St. Peter’s Parish was held in the parish hall. The annual reports and balance-sheets were adopted. The current finances showed a very marked increase, duo to tho ready response through tho duplex envelope system and tho substantial sura raised for the erection of the church at St. Clair. The vicar reviewed the work of the year, and expressed the opinion that, while there was much room for improvement, U branches of parochial activity were in a healthy condition, and with united effort the future held great promise. The vestry was congratulated upon the possession of the church at St. Clair, the congregations there more than justifying this extension. Tho following officers for tho year were appointed 'Vicar’s warden, Mr R. B. Hill; people’s warden, Mr W. Homan; ves try—Messrs Beecot, Davis, H, Flemders, J. Flinders, Green, Gngg, Henderson, A. Hill, and Macc. Votes of thanks were accorded tho various guilds and individuals who had shared in the work of the parish. Supper was served at tho close of the meeting, and a pleasant social hour spent.
