LONDON, April it 'The Hoard of Trade's figures lor March show that the imports decreased by £2,989,000 and that the exports increased by £2,844,000. Re-exports decreased by £49(3,000. Tho principal decreases in the imports were: Dutiable food and drink, £.1,206,000; oil, seeds, etc., £1 ~192,000; iron and steel manufactures, £1,428,000. Exports: Coal £1,211,000. The increased imports were; Grain and flour, £919,000; raw wool. £1,885,000. Exports: Machinery, £678.000; cotton and yarn manufactures. £809,000; vehicles, £1,184,000. —Australian Press Association.
