PRINCESS THEATRE

HEW BILL TO-NIGHT ‘ Keep Smiling ’ is the title of the new production to he presented by tho Joe Brennan and Cyril Northcoto Beyue Company at the Princess Theatre to-night. As was the case in the last offering, there is plenty of comedy, and not one dull moment from the opening number by tho orchestra, until the final curtain. The company offers a number of new revue sketches, chief among which are ‘ The Woman Over the Road,’ ‘The Inaudible Actors,’ ‘Joes Wedding,’ and ‘ Ringing the Changes,’ in all of which Joe Brennan plays tho chief comedy character. A feature of tho programme will be the nautical revuetto ‘All Aboard,’ which concludes the first half of the programme; this ;. a revue in miniature, occupying about twenty minutes. Mr Joe Brennan will bo seen as a pantomime dame, in winch character ho has won much fame in Australia, having played dame for Messrs J. C. Williamson s and hnlleis pantomime companies. There will he a burlesque wrestling match between Cyril Northoote and G. W. Desmond. This burlesque is framed on the Saturday night wrestling championships from tho Stadium in Melbourne, familiar to most people as being broadcasted bv Norman M'Hanco through 3LO, only in this burlesque he will ho represented by Mr Joe Brennan, who will he seen' broadcasting from the ringside. Ida Newton, Ira Vanda, and George Corelli will ho heard in new numbers, and Gus Dawson and the sprightly Cabaret Kittens have all new dancing novelties to offer. Ihe performance will he concluded with a finale, ‘Balloon Land.’ This programme promises to bo even brighter than the previous one.
