DUNEDIN EGG SUPPLIERS

MEETING OF ASSOCIATION The first annua! meeting of the Dunedin Egg Suppliers’ Association was held in daman* yesterday. The president (Mr George M'Latchie) was in the chair, and there was a fair attendance of members. The selling agent, Mr T. E. Steel, was also present by invitation. The statement of accounts for the year ended March 31 disclosed a credit balance of £4O 3s Bd, with a membership of ninety, which it is confidently anticipated will be materially increased during the ensuing year. Tile election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr George M'Latchie (re-elected) • vice-president, Mr David Christie (re-elected); committee —Messrs L. Dickie, Edward Jones, J. E. Kelly, F. Searle, A. Hooper, W. Guested. A. Morrison, James Hollamby, .lames Cairns, G. Harrison, and G. A. Barron ; secretary, Mr George Shnnd; treasurer, Air G. M’Latchie; auditor, Mr Hugh Robertson. At the invitation of the chairman Mr Jones delivered a» short address on the eighteenth annual conference of the New Zealand Poultry Association, held in Wellington last month Amongst other important subjects, that of export next season, was freely discussed, and it was stated that the committee was actively engaged in making arrangements for the current year. Mr T. E. Steel was reappointed selling agent for the association.
