LABOR PARTY’S CONFERENCE
[Pee United Pbsm Association.} WELLINGTON, April 13. Organisation for the forthcoming election occupied most of the time of the New Zealand Labor Party’s annual conference yesterday. The other questions dealt with were the administration of hospitals and the necessity of representation of Labor ou hospital boards. A resolution in favor of unemployment insurance was supported. A presentation was made to the retiring president, Mr Semple, to whom the conference carried a unanimous vote of thanks, recording its appreciation of the work he had done for the party and expressing confidence in him as its representative.
