BRAVE BOY’S DEATH
TRAPPED OH RAILWAY FATE CALMLY AWAITED. LONDON, April 3. A boy named Kenneth Garsand, aged six. was crossing the railway lino at Sidcup, Kent, with several companions when nis foot became wedged in a guard-rail. His companions vainly tried to release him, and then ran home, frightened at hearing an approaching electric train. The driver of the train at the inquest said he saw Kenneth _ sitting composedly on the track with his hands covering his face. The boy was in that attitude when he met his death.
