ST. CLAIR CARNIVAL.
TO THE EDITOH.
Sir, —1 wish to take the curliest opportunity, on behalf ol the Working Committee of the St. Clair Carnival, to record their grateful thanks to the public for their magnificent response to their efforts.
in fully acknowledging that the amount collected might have been further increased had every avenue for the public to spend their money been availed of, wo ask their indulgence for this our first effort in holding a carnival. Full advantage will be taken of noting our delinquencies with respect to future carnivals. While so many have contributed so wonderfully to our success, the idea of holding a carnival emanated from Major Lumpen and Air C. De R. Andrews, w ho also were the principal leaders in the whole movement. —I am, etc.,
G. A. Fenwick, Chairman, St. Clair Improvement February 20. Association.
