(sitting as coroner) resumed hearing this morning of the inquest on the body of William Anderson Forbes, who was found drowned on Christmas Day on Long Beach, Purakanui. George Henry Forbes, residing at Gamma street, Roslyn, said that on December 27 lie identified the body as that of his son, William Anderson Forbes, who was twenty-six years ol age. At times for ten years his son had suffered from epilepsy. On December 24 deceased left home to go to the Purakanui schoolhouse, where another son was the teacher. Deceased went to stay at the schoolhouse while his brother was away. Deceased was a good swimmer, and swimming gave relief to a bad shoulder which he had.
