At tho swimming carnival in tho Christchurch tepid baths last night two New Zealand records went by the board. In the 220yds men’s championship D. P. Lindsay registered 2min 29sec, or 2 3-sseo better than the previous record, and in the 150yds men’s backstroke championship Moorhonse beat his own Now Zealand record of Imin 56seo by two seconds.
