LONDON PRODUCE MARKETS. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London office as at close of business last week:— Butter.—Market quiet; 160 s to 104 s per cwt. Cheese.—Market quiet; 92s to 94s pur cwt. Frozen Meat.—-Tire market is firmer for lighter-weight wethers. It would appear that prices have reached their top for ewes. Lambs are in short supply, with prices nominal. Australian is quoted at 6d to 9RI, and Argentine 6d to BJ[d per lb. Tho beef market shows a little better demand. Wethers, light CRI to 7RI per lb, heavy 5d to old; ewes, 4ld to SRI; lambs, two’s lljd to 12d, eight’s lid to 11.R1; ox hinds, 4RI to 4|d; fores, 3Jd to 3Jd; cow hinds, 4d to 4id; fores, 3RI to 3)d.
