(Received November, 25, at 8.65 a.m.) Conversations are proceeding between the Sarwat' Cabinet and the President of the Wafdists regarding the London discussions. The newspaper ‘ Ahram ’ understands that it is proposed to conclude a defensive alliance between British and Egyptian armies to co-operate in defending the Suez Canal, It embraces air defence in view of aviation’s growing importance. It is stated that the British Foreign Office is submitting the question to tho Imperial Defence Committee.—Sydney ‘Sun’ Cable.
