Major Dome lay second for a while, and Hav/kesbury’s Prido had a turn in that place, but nothing had a chance with the leader, and he won, pulled into a walk, by a dozen yards, Jade the same distance away. Dolores, who broke four or fivo times, finished fourth, and Hawkesbury’s Prido next. Ria Audubon did not go at all. Time, 4min 1 l-ssec.

Stockade Junior commenced best, followed by Firebrand and Dahlia Dillon, Sadie Huon lying fourth. Sadie Huon becoming unsteady, dropped away, and the three others went on well clear. With a lap to go Nelson M’Elwyn drew into fourth place. Dahlia Dillon broke three furlongs from home, and the finish was between Stockade Junior and Firebrand, the latter picking up a length qf more in tho homo stretch and winning by half a length. From tho last quarter Desborough went away alone. General Bingen overhauled Omaha, hut that ended his ability, and Desborough strolled in four lengths ahead of tho favorite, Omaha two lengths further back, then Doctor Dillon, Robert Bell, and Jolly Chimes. Avalanche led into tho last lap, but failed badly two furlongs from home, and Underviewer led. Swiftbiue challenged in tho straight, and Underviewer broke within a, stride of the post. Swiftbiue won by a bead, P,andolph twelve lengths, away. Time, 4miu 54soc. Avalanche, after his big lead, finished last. Mr George Mason, who was injured before the racing commenced, was unconscious up to 3 o’clock.
