THE LICENSING BILL
[£v Quit pAitoUiiENiAiiy Repoetee.J WELLINGTON, November 21. The Licensing Bill’s late still remains uncertain. Last night was a busy one for those concerned in conferences, but they made no progress. One of the Reform group favoring tho bare majority stated to-day that they await an announcement from tho Prime Minister, “if ho docs not continue with the Bill someone else will Lake it up.”
Questioned whether he had a clue to the Prime Minister’s intentions, the member admitted that be could not guess, though ho had a feeling that Ins leader would not let the matter diop.
